3. HOUSING FINANCING FOR HOME RENOVATION WORKS
Eligibility Conditions for Obtaining Financing for Home Renovation Works Purchased Through RISDA Housing Loans
FINANCING ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant is the full owner of the property or joint owner (husband and wife).
- If the property has been pledged to any financial institution, RISDA must be registered as the first lien holder; and
- Renovation works are only allowed on houses that have been fully completed.
- Borrowers who take out a second loan are not eligible to take out a modification loan.
